Goose (plural: geese) is the English name for a considerable number of birds, belonging to the family Anatidae, subfamily Anserinae, tribe Anserini. The ubiquitous Canada goose is one of the best known birds in North America. Geese are found in every contiguous U.S. state and Canadian province at one time of the year or another.
The term goose applies to the birds in general, and to a female in particular. The word gander is used for a male goose. Young birds before fledging are called goslings. A group of geese on the ground is called a gaggle; when flying in formation is called a wedge or a skein. No matter what you call them, our goose Christmas ornaments and decorations will delight your loved ones who love both birds and nature.
